Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience with front end product development working with UX design.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $138000 - $198000 (USD) 15% bonus target equity benefits

Responsibilities
  • Help define the compelling product vision, strategy and roadmap for Languages.
  • Lead new Languages innovations (e.g., quality improvements, voice cloning) from ideation through to launch.
  • Work across functions (e.g., UXR, UX, Engineering, and Go-To-Market) to develop features that meet user needs and to bring those features to market successfully.
  • Work closely with teams across YouTube and Google to gain buy-in, forge partnerships, generate enthusiasm, corral resources, and co-develop features; teams include DeepMind, Shorts, Live, Kids, Studio and YouTube Main App.
  • Represent Languages in executive forums and at various events and summits.
