You'll operate at the intersection of customer needs, business goals, and technology-leading a cross-functional product "pod" to deliver high-quality, high-impact digital experiences at pace

What You'll Do:

Product Ownership & Delivery
  • Own a defined area of the digital funnel (e.g., discovery, booking, post-booking, loyalty) across web and app
  • Define and prioritize product backlogs aligned to customer needs and business impact
  • Lead your cross-functional pod (engineering, design, analytics) to deliver high-quality product experiences quickly and effectively
  • Ensure strong execution using agile methodologies and continuous delivery practices

Customer Experience & Optimization
  • Continuously optimize existing features and journeys to improve conversion rates, engagement, and retention
  • Identify friction points and opportunities through customer insights, data analysis, and experimentation
  • Champion a customer-first mindset in all product decisions

Innovation & Experimentation
  • Develop and launch new features, propositions, and experiences that enhance the customer journey
  • Run structured experiments (A/B testing, MVPs) to validate ideas and scale what works
  • Bring creativity and innovative thinking to solve customer and business problems

Data & Insights
  • Use quantitative data and qualitative research to inform product decisions
  • Define success metrics and track performance against KPIs
  • Partner with analytics and research teams to generate actionable insights

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and commercial teams to align on priorities and deliver outcomes
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and results clearly to stakeholders
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across the organization

Perks You'll Get:
  • Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance
  • Eligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Auto Insurance, Group Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Identity Theft Protection, FSA, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and additional life insurance coverages
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matched contributions
  • Full training to learn the business and enhance professional skills
  • Employee discounts, including discounted prices on the purchase of Avis/Budget cars
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service and more

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a high-performing e-commerce or digital-first company
  • Demonstrated success improving customer metrics such as conversion, revenue, and retention
  • Strong understanding of product management and agile methodologies
  • Experience leading cross-functional product teams ("pods") to deliver at pace
  • Highly customer-focused, with a strong instinct for identifying and solving user problems
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using data and research to drive decisions
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a bias toward action
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Experience managing both B2C and B2B digital experiences, particularly at scale
  • Exposure to complex, multi-channel digital ecosystems

The annual starting salary for this position is between $150,000 - $175,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
