Overview

Who We're Looking For

Toyota Financial Services is looking for a Product Manager who is obsessed with the customer, makes decisions with data, and moves with the urgency of a startup inside one of the world's most trusted brands.

This isn't a project management role. You won't be taking requirements from the business and handing them to engineering. You'll own a product area end-to-end - from understanding the customer problem, to defining the solution in partnership with the business, to shipping it and measuring whether it worked. You'll talk to real customers, dig into the data to find what's broken, and make hard trade-off decisions with incomplete information.

If you've thrived in a startup or early-stage product environment and yet can navigate, anticipate and address the needs of a large enterprise, this is the role.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Own a product area end-to-end from discovery through delivery and iteration
  • Talk to customers regularly - run usability tests, join discovery interviews, and use what you learn to shape the product
  • Define product strategy through Press Release and Frequently Asked Questions (PR/FAQs) and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) that articulate the customer problem, the solution, and how we'll measure success
  • Make prioritization decisions based on data, customer feedback, and business impact - not opinions or stakeholder loudness
  • Partner with engineering and design - you bring the "what" and "why," they bring the "how"
  • Ship incrementally - define releases, set acceptance criteria, and get working software in front of users fast
  • Instrument everything - define success metrics, build dashboards, and use data to decide what to build next

What You Bring
  • 7+ years of product management experience on consumer-facing digital products
  • Track record of shipping products that customers actually use - not just features that got deployed
  • Experience with customer research - you've run usability tests, customer interviews, or similar and used the findings to change product direction
  • Strong written communication - you can write a clear product brief that engineering, design, and business stakeholders all understand
  • Startup mindset with enterprise polish - you're comfortable with ambiguity, you move fast, but you can bring along critical stakeholders with patience and confident leadership
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams in an agile environment to ensure that what is built matches your vision in the most effective way
  • Passion for modern product management practices and AI-powered tooling - you actively explore how AI can accelerate discovery, analysis, and delivery

Added Bonus If You Have
  • Experience in automotive, fintech, lending, or marketplace products
  • Experience with AI/ML-powered product features (search, recommendations, personalization)
  • Experience building products that involve regulatory or compliance considerations
  • You've written a PR/FAQ or similar "working backwards" product document

What We'll Bring

During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities. A few highlights include:
  • A work environment built on teamwork, flexibility, and respect
  • Professional growth and development programs to help advance your career, as well as tuition reimbursement
  • Team Member Vehicle Purchase Discount
  • Toyota Team Member Lease Vehicle Program (if applicable)
  • Comprehensive health care and wellness plans for your entire family
  • Toyota 401(k) Savings Plan featuring a company match, as well as an annual retirement contribution from Toyota regardless of whether you contribute
  • Paid holidays and paid time off
  • Referral services related to prenatal services, adoption, childcare, schools, and more
  • Tax Advantaged Accounts (Health Savings Account, Health Care FSA, Dependent Care FSA)
