Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • 1 year of experience with AI Platforms.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of demonstrated track record of technical innovation in data governance or related fields.
  • 1 year of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Knowledge of AI policy, copyright law, or data privacy regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Innovate on ways to make compliance and governance seamless for DeepMind researchers.
  • Support the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Themis, scaling the platform by identifying and developing DeepMind and PA (Product Area) GenAI data usage opportunities.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the data approval lifecycle, such as time-to-approval, bottleneck stages, and compliance coverage.
  • Be the go-to person for PMs, PgMs, and research teams navigating the Themis approval pipeline, providing guidance and gathering feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with legal, policy, and engineering teams, specifically partnering with Zurich-based engineering teams to build automated policy controls and workflow integrations.
