POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Owner will serve as the voice of the customer and business working with TEAM's Agile Development TEAM, ensuring technology solutions align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value. This role is responsible for defining product priorities, managing the product backlog, and translating business needs into actionable requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Product Vision & Strategy
    • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap in alignment with business strategy and objectives.
    • Translate high-level strategies into actionable and prioritized product backlogs.
  • Backlog Management
    • Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, stakeholder input and technical feasibility/level of effort.
    • Contribute to the creation and refinement of user stories to ensure they are clear and concise according to Business Analyst provided framework including acceptance criteria and BDD.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, users, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and feedback in partnership with the Business Analyst.
    • Act as a liaison between business and development TEAMs to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Agile Leadership
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups (as available), sprint reviews and retrospectives.
    • Make real-time decisions to unblock development and ensure sprint goals are met in collaboration with the Scrum Master, Business Analyst and other IT Leadership.
  • Performance & Delivery
    • Monitor product performance and user adoption by collaborating with the various departments including Operations, Account Services and Data Analyst, using data to inform future enhancements.
    • Ensure timely delivery of features and functionality that meet quality standards in partnership with Scrum Master, Business Analyst and other IT Leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  1. Experience & Education:
    1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administrations, Information Systems, Technology, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
    2. 5+ years experience supporting operational business platforms.
    3. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Agile certifications, or equivalent experience preferred.
  2. Technical Skills:
    1. Agile Product Management: Ability to manage and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring development efforts align with business goals and deliver maximum value.
    2. Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Working knowledge of software development processes, from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and support.
    3. Agile Tools & Platforms: Experience with product management and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
    4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Ability to validate delivered solutions against business requirements and ensure successful adoption by end users.
    5. Process Documentation: Experience creating business process maps, workflows, functional specifications, and product documentation.
    6. Systems Integration Knowledge: General understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows to support solution design and implementation discussions.

    1. Strategic Thinking: Ability to align product priorities with organizational goals, understand business impacts, dependencies and long-term outcomes and gain alignment and anticipate future needs and opportunities for innovation.
