Product Manager - HybridTowson, MD or Valley City, OHThe Job:As a Product Manager, you'll be part of our Outdoor Power Equipment team working as a hybrid employee. You'll get to:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the outdoor woodcutting battery product portfolio (Chainsaws & Pole Saws) with the underlying goal of market share and profitability enhancement
- Conduct end user research to identify market opportunities and drive decision making for projects in development
- Maintain a product roadmap and corresponding business cases focused on profitably meeting the needs of the end customer
- Manage and lead the phase gate process for new product development, ensuring all tasks are completed and the project stays on pace
- Understand the trends in the outdoor battery power equipment industry and related industries and develop a deep understanding of the end user to incorporate these insights into successful new product launches
- Provide product training to internal and external stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams including brand and category management to ensure products meet customer and business needs

- Experience in Product Management
- Proven results managing a product portfolio in the consumer goods industry or for the trades (landscaping, construction, etc.)
- Ability to balance multiple brands to maximize market share and profitability

- Strong research skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent written and presentation skills (small and large audiences)
- End user obsession, consumer-first mindset, and desire to be "hands on" with products
- Strong motivation with the ability to prioritize while not losing sight of the broader picture
- A "can-do" attitude and the desire to go above and beyond in all you do
- Team spirit combined with a high level of autonomy
- Role is hybrid with 3 days per week based out of our Valley City, OH or Towson, MD office
- Up to 25% Travel

The Salary range for this position is $62,200.00 - $100,200.00
