Product Manager- Towson, MD- Hybrid3 days in Towson and 2 days remote (Travel 10-25%)The Job: As a Product Manager, you'll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as a Hybrid employee in Townson, MD. You'll get to:
- Manage the complete product lifecycle process, alongside the Product Management team, from concept to delivery.
- Assist in marketing functions relating to assigned product lines as well as general departmental functions.
- Drive and develop new products while overseeing and managing quality issues and developing sales and promotion programs.
- Develop and implement relevant point-of-purchase displays, materials, and web content; benchmark competitors and perform competitive pricing analysis.
- Be responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive strategic plan for the profitable management of pricing, gross margins, collateral materials, and point-of-purchase. This also entails a monthly forecast of product lines to include detailed tactics required to meet strategic objectives.
- Maintain an awareness of trends in the relevant industry and related industries and develop a deep understanding of the end user to incorporate these insights into successful new product launches.
- Support and prepare for customer meetings, presentations, and line reviews.
- Assist in leading cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives, and function as the point of contact for manufacturing, purchasing, sales, quality, and engineering.
- Validate product CTQs, testing, and claims with end users.
- Provide product training to internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate and develop product line total sales and product positioning, including responsibility for managing the annual marketing budget and the profit and loss of the product line.

- BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of Product Management experience required, experience supporting consumer products, power tools, accessories, hardware, outdoor products, or other durable goods categories preferred.
- Experience supporting or managing products through multiple stages of the product lifecycle.
- Ability to interpret data, trends, and financial information to tell a story and drive business recommendations.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite required, experience using PowerBI, SAP/BW, Metastorm, Windchill or Qlikeview is a plus.
