Product Manager (SM) is responsible for developing and executing portfolio strategy throughout the product lifecycle. Specimen Management (SM) portfolio.
- Lead strategy development and portfolio management for one of two portfolios within the Specimen Management platform in Canada (Acquisition or Containment). Acquisition includes wingsets, needles, and line-collection devices; Containment includes blood collection tubes, urine collection system, and research tubes.
- Provide inputs into financial budgeting/forecasting and demand planning, and conduct GP analyses.
- Lead the launch process for managed product lines, including completing launch plans, pricing, promotion, and ensuring regional readiness to launch.
- Identify market trends, competitive behaviors, and customer needs to maximize business opportunities and minimize potential threats.
- Develop value propositions that resonate with customers' needs and incorporate customer-centric messaging in marketing activities.
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans and long-term strategic plans to respond to the needs of the Canadian market.
- Support and participate in sales planning, opportunity management, and customer engagements.
- Ensure the Canadian sales team has appropriate tools, training, and support required to enable sales; actively participate in sales presentations when requested.
- Develop and maximize relationships with the global platform to ensure Canadian needs are met and to provide input for new product developments.
- Drive market development activities, including development of a strong Key Opinion Leader (KOL) network.
Education and Experience required:- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years sales, marketing or product manager experience within the healthcare industry, medical device preferred.
- Experience in identifying Market Opportunities, Market Segmentation, Targeted Marketing, Competitive Analysis, Pricing Strategy and Go to Market models and strategies.
Knowledge and Skills required: - Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into business decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Highly organized with strong project and process management capabilities, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused team player with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to travel up to 25% within Canada and United States, as needed.
Preferred qualifications:- Bilingual in French an asset (read, write, speak).

The range displayed is comprised of wages, which includes base salary and commission, as well as certain components of our bonus programs. The salary offered to a successful candidate may vary based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, education, skills, qualifications, and work location.
Salary Range Information: $85000 - $135000 CAD Annual
