Product Marketing Manager, Stationary Metrology Division
SummaryHexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a hands-on Product Marketing Manager to support the Stationary Metrology portfolio. In this role, you will translate technical product capabilities, customer applications, and market needs into clear positioning, sales enablement, and content that support commercial growth.
You will take ownership of a defined portion of the Stationary Metrology portfolio rather than the entire portfolio. You are not expected to arrive as a metrology expert. The existing Product Marketing team will support onboarding and knowledge transfer across products, customers, markets, and the internal network until you are ready to manage your assigned area independently.
This is an execution-focused role with meaningful ownership of assigned projects and deliverables. Stationary Metrology is broad and technical, so a key part of the role is creating clarity by coordinating input from Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Applications, Service, Demand Generation, and regional marketing and turning technical information into practical, customer-relevant output.
Job Responsibilities- Support product marketing for the global Stationary Metrology portfolio, including bridge CMMs, ultra-high accuracy CMMs, optical CMMs, and related solutions.
- Take ownership of an assigned area of the portfolio, building depth in its products, applications, customers, and competitive landscape.
- Develop positioning, value propositions, and messaging by product, industry, application, and use case, ensuring global consistency while incorporating regional insight.
- Support product launches, updates, and campaigns with messaging, launch inputs, sales enablement, content, and content briefs.
- Translate technical specifications and product capabilities into clear customer value, business relevance, and sales-ready messaging.
- Partner with Product Management and Applications to understand product capabilities, customer use cases, technical differentiators, and roadmap priorities.
- Work with Sales and regional teams, particularly in the United States, to identify customer needs, objections, competitive situations, and enablement gaps and channel those insights into global marketing activity.
- Support Demand Generation and regional marketing with campaign messaging, proof points, audience definitions, content, and activation guidance.
- Create and coordinate sales enablement and customer-facing content, including presentations, objection-handling materials, proof points, web copy, video, case studies, brochures, webinars, and event materials.
- Coordinate stakeholders, agencies, and subject matter experts to keep deliverables accurate, consistent, documented, and reusable.
QualificationsMust Have- Approximately 3-6 years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, sales enablement, product management, applications, technical sales, or a comparable B2B commercial role.
- Ability to understand technical products and customer applications quickly without needing to be the deepest technical expert in the room.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, customer-relevant messaging.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate work across multiple stakeholders in a global matrix organization.
- A hands-on working style with the ability to own execution, make progress with incomplete information, and follow through reliably.
- Practical experience using AI-enabled tools such as Claude, Jasper AI, or Microsoft Copilot for research, drafting, summarisation, and messaging. AI is a core capability in this role and is expected to be used regularly.
- Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones, adapting communication, alignment, and follow-up to different stakeholder contexts.
- Flexibility to shift working hours earlier when collaboration with European teams or business needs require it.
- A structured, reliable working style and curiosity about customers, industries, and the factors that drive commercial growth.
Nice to Have- Experience in industrial technology, manufacturing, metrology, quality inspection, automation, software, hardware, or another complex technical environment.
- Direct experience with metrology or coordinate measuring machines.
- Hands-on creative capability in graphic design, Adobe InDesign or the wider Adobe Creative Suite, photography, video capture, or editing.
Work EnvironmentThis is a remote U.S.-based role, with a preference for candidates who live within driving distance of a major Hexagon facility in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, or Novi, Michigan.
The position involves regular collaboration with colleagues across North America and Europe, with selected interaction across Asia. The role requires clear written communication, disciplined coordination across time zones, and occasional adjustments to working hours to support global collaboration and critical deadlines.
Travel is expected up to 10%, primarily within the United States, with occasional travel to global Hexagon sites, customer meetings, and industry events.
