Job Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps that align with SHI's vision and business goals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction. This role involves conducting market research, gathering product requirements, leading beta programs, monitoring product performance, and supporting go-to-market strategies, while staying informed of industry trends and providing training and demonstrations for product capabilities.

This position is required to report to the Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ office location on a hybrid basis.

Role Description

  • Lead stakeholder discussions for intake, discovery, problem definition, scope alignment, and prioritization.
  • Define and document business problems, desired outcomes, success metrics, value drivers, assumptions, dependencies, and scope boundaries.
  • Evaluate and qualify incoming transformation requests for business alignment, readiness, expected value, feasibility inputs, and cross-functional impact.
  • Create execution-ready demand packages that enable Program Management, Architecture, Solution teams, and delivery partners to proceed with clear context.
  • Partner with Architecture and Solution teams to provide business context for rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates and technical solutioning.
  • Facilitate trade-off discussions based on business value, risk, urgency, readiness, and strategic alignment.
  • Prepare recommendations, business cases, and decision-ready materials for prioritization forums.
  • Maintain visibility into assigned demand items, discovery status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and value realization inputs.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and Project Managers to ensure a seamless handoff from discovery into planning and delivery governance.
  • Drive continuous improvement of product discovery processes, intake standards, templates, and business-facing communication within the Transformation Office.
  • Support adoption and change readiness by clarifying stakeholder impacts, business outcomes, and success measures.

Preferred
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation, operating model change, business process optimization, or digital modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, Planview, ServiceNow, Workday, WMS, Palantir, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Proficiency with prioritization frameworks such as RICE, MoSCoW, value-versus-effort matrices, or weighted scoring models.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making, KPI analysis, dashboards, or A/B testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of design thinking, service design, or human-centered design principles.
  • Experience with business process optimization, process mapping, or operating model design.
  • Financial and business acumen, including business case development, ROI analysis, and unit economics.
  • Familiarity with AI, cloud technologies, and modern digital transformation tools and their impact on business outcomes.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, design sprints, or cross-functional discovery sessions.
  • Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional, or global environments.
  • Experience with Jira Product Discovery or similar product discovery and backlog management tools.
  • Experience with sales processes, marketing processes, or go-to-market transformation initiatives.


The estimated annual pay range for this position is $135,000 - $165,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
