Job Description

As the Product Manager for Semiconductor Automation - Vacuum Robots, you will be the driving force behind the strategy and vision for cutting-edge semiconductor automation solutions. Specifically, you'll take ownership of the evolution of Vacuum Robots, ensuring they remain at the forefront of innovation. This pivotal role is dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art automation technology to Semiconductor OEMs and End User Customers, aligning with key industry trends such as Next Generation Nodes in Semiconductor Manufacturing, Emerging AI, EV Automotive, IoT, Advanced Packaging, Next Generation Node Logic, and beyond.

Your responsibilities encompass not only shaping the Product Roadmaps but also overseeing a comprehensive product portfolio, with a special focus on guiding the success of Vacuum Robotics-a key product line within Brooks. This dynamic position requires adept coordination of cross-functional teams, a keen understanding of market trends, and the development of a clear product strategy to address customer needs and achieve ambitious business goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Product Strategy and Development:
* Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to define product features and specifications.
* Ensure products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Market Analysis:
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and a competitive landscape.
* Analyze market data to make informed decisions regarding product positioning and differentiation.
* Stay informed about emerging technologies and advancements in semiconductor manufacturing.

Product Road Maps:
* Develop and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps aligned with company and customer needs.
* Communicate roadmaps internally to ensure cross-functional alignment.
* Regularly review and update roadmaps based on market feedback and technology advancements.

Voice of Customer (VOC):
* Actively engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their requirements (VOC).
* Incorporate VOC insights into product development and enhancement processes.
* Champion the customer perspective in product decision-making.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
* Work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to define product roadmaps and prioritize features.

Value Selling:
* Develop and articulate the value proposition of semiconductor equipment products.
* Train and support sales teams in effectively communicating the value of products to customers.
* Apply value-selling techniques to differentiate products in the market.

Customer Engagement:
* Build and maintain relationships with key customers to understand their needs and gather feedback.
* Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and provide technical support when needed.

Financial Management:
* Develop and manage product budgets, including cost analysis and pricing strategies.
* Monitor product performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Product Lifecycle Management:
* Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life.
* Implement strategies for product enhancements, updates, and obsolescence.

Quality Assurance:
* Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet high-quality standards.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and reliability.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

* Bachelors or Masters Degree in an Engineering related discipline OR equivalent work experience.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Product Management role utilizing the Product Management Lifecycle.

* Experience working within a matrixed environment.

* Ability to travel 20% Internationally.

* Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes within the semiconductor equipment industry, and familiarity with market trends, industry dynamics, and Key Customers preferred.

Compensation
Base Salary Range: $118,265.18 USD to $160,005.83 USD

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
