JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity

This position works out of our Mississauga location in the Diabetes Care Division. We're focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. As the Product Manager you will have the chance to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across retail banners to drive demand, engagement, and consumer support program adoption for Abbott Diabetes Care. This role will work closely with the Key Account Management Team ensuring a cohesive, insight-driven approach to in-store and online activation, retail media, pharmacist and patient engagement solutions. The ideal candidate combines retail marketing expertise, omnichannel experience, and consumer-centric thinking to unlock the full value of retail partnerships.

What You'll Do
  • Retail Channel Strategy & Planning - Develop and lead the pharmacy channel marketing strategy aligned with commercial priorities and brand objectives and build retailer-specific activation plans.
  • Retail Media & In-Store Activation - Own and optimize all retail media investments, including Onsite and offsite retail activations.
  • Patient Support Program Integration in Retail - Design and scale PSP activations within retail channels.
  • Develop pharmacy education toolkits and training resources for retail banners to equip in-store pharmacy teams with the knowledge, tools, and conversation guides needed to support consumers.
  • Track and report on campaign performance and link to commercial outcomes.
  • Generate insights to inform future channel investments and innovation.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Three to five years of related experience is required.
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills and also showcases a customer-service focused mentality.
  • Experience in healthcare marketing, ideally with Retail/Channel management experience or marketing experience with top Canadian pharmacy banners is a plus.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing strategic brand plans for retail channel.
  • Experience of developing messaging and toolkits relevant for assigned audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market research, data interpretation and performance tracking.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross functionally with medical, regulatory, and commercial teams.
  • Comfortable with numbers, budgets, and analysis.


The annual base salary for this position ranges from $99,750.00 to $146,300.00 CAD. The salary range provided applies to Canada only and does not apply to any other locations outside of Canada.
