Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Product Manager.

In this role, the successful candidate Product Manager - MCIT (New York, NY)
Hybrid - must be in the office at least 2 days/week
  • Design, implement, and manage our medical centers computing systems software by developing innovative systems software solutions for the distributed systems computing platform that supports the medical centers clinical computing systems and applications
  • Utilize data analytics, research, product reviews, user feedback and product testing to ensure consistency and quality across all end user features
  • Participate in the design and architectural review of the infrastructure and propose/implement automations, integrations, and innovations
  • Enforce configuration management in Virtualization and Windows environments.
  • Perform capacity reviews and trend analysis on VMware hosts and guests. Make recommendations to add/remove hosts and right-size VM guests
  • Maintain accurate and up to date Visio diagrams detailing the managed environment
  • Coordinate and review the capacity needs for the servers (e.g. CPU, disk, RAM)
  • Lead Cyber and Disaster Recovery

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6 yrs progressive experience w/planning, designing, installing, configuring and managing all infrastructure related solutions
  • 6 yrs progressive exp w/handling configuration/issues related VMware vCloud Environment which includes vCenter Server, ESXi Cluster, Distributing Resources Scheduler, Site Recovery Manager & Distributing Switch Management, using vRealize Operation Manager for integrating Performance, Capacity and Configuration Management of VMware Environment
  • 6 yrs progressive exp w/managing Windows Environment including Windows Active Directory, AD integrated DNS, DHCP, Enterprise Certificate Authority, Group Policy, CIS Server Hardening, Compliance, IIS, SQL Cluster, File Transfer Solutions, Mitigating audit findings
  • 6 yrs progressive exp w/handling Data Center Solutions including Hardware Installation, Troubleshooting, Parts replacement, Cabling & Vendor Management
  • 6 yrs progressive exp w/installing, configuring, managing and monitoring Backups for VMware environment and file systems, DB and OS backups
  • 6 yrs progressive exp w/VMWare vSphere Hypervisor, VMWare vCenter Server, VMWare vRealize Operation Manager, Citrix, Backups, Data Center Management, Dell OME, HP SIM, HP Oneview.
  • 6 yrs progressive exp w/Windows Server, Power Shell Scripting, Service Desk Tool, SQL Server Cluster
  • Progressive experience is demonstrated by advancement toward increasingly complex or responsible duties.Bachelors in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, or any foreign equivalencies

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $216,045.00 - $217,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
