Full Job Description
The Opportunity

Bring your expertise to a highly collaborative, creative, and innovative team with a market-leading technology product suite. We are seeking a Product Manager to help drive the evolution of our Limited Partner (LP) product - owning the formulation, execution, and communication of the LP product roadmap.

As Product Manager, LP Portfolio Monitoring, you will report to the Head of Product and sit across a diverse array of stakeholders, including Engineering, Design, Client Services, and Business Development. You'll work closely with clients and prospects to understand their business needs, identify technology solutions, determine priority, and articulate our product strategy via roadmap presentations and other external touchpoints. Strong communication skills, including a deep understanding of private equity terminology and an ability to communicate with sophisticated private market investors, is a must.

Prior investing experience at a top tier LP, ideally a fund of funds, is required. Subsequent experience as a Product or Engineering professional, or an undergraduate degree in engineering or a related technical field, is strongly preferred. At minimum, candidates must demonstrate an absolute passion for technology, aptitude for engaging with technical concepts, and deep AI proficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to transition from finance into tech at a leading fintech platform. You'll be in good company-our founding team and much of our Product and Engineering leadership share similar backgrounds as investors turned technologists. We combine deep industry expertise with technical innovation and welcome new talent who bring the same drive.

As the Product Manager of our LP Product, you will:
  • Take ownership of the LP product vision
  • Build and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business needs, technical feasibility and resource availability
  • Develop a deep understanding of client use cases to deliver creative and thoughtful solutions
  • Work closely with a best-in-class Engineering team to deliver high-quality product features in a timely and efficient manner
  • Build excitement in the market for our product vision via regular client engagement and roadmap presentations
  • Embrace and make use of cutting edge product philosophies and tools, including LLMs and prototyping platforms

You will be successful in this role if you have:
  • Intricate knowledge of LP financial concepts, methodologies, and modeling approaches, preferably from direct experience as a fund-of-funds investor
  • The ability to translate LP analytics into technical specifications a non-financial audience can consume
  • An undergraduate degree in engineering, or equivalent professional technology experience, and a genuine aptitude for engaging with technical concepts
  • Demonstrated AI proficiency. You can point to specific ways you use AI in your work and the results it produced. A strong interest in where AI is taking the product is required
  • Great communication skills and an ability to tailor your messaging to engage various stakeholders
  • An ability to efficiently prioritize, triage, and synthesize multiple perspectives
  • An understanding of what it takes to ship high-quality SaaS products and features at scale
  • Positive attitude, sense of humor, and creativity

Nice to haves:
  • Prior experience using Chronograph or similar LP portfolio monitoring platforms
  • Prior experience investing in, implementing, or building tools for enterprise SaaS
  • Prior experience working in product management, or collaborating closely with technical teams

Even if you do not meet all criteria, we would still encourage you to apply or get in touch! Chronograph offers an entrepreneurial environment where you will be able to proactively identify opportunities to develop and strengthen our team.
