*Location: Can be Remote in the US but prefer local to Denver, CO (If local will be required to go onsite 3 days a month)

Our digital product team is critical to enabling our kidney care platform, and our product team is growing! We have an opportunity for a Product Manager to drive product outcomes which solve critical business problems. Your primary activities will include executing strategy and tracking outcomes for a critical clinical capability.

We are looking for someone who is an expert relationship builder, has a bias towards action, can collaborate with cross-functional teams, and is obsessive about seeing problems through to solutions.

Execution & Delivery:
  • Product Managers are involved in product discovery through product delivery
  • Collaborate with business partners, users, designers and engineering to ensure solutions are achieving business objectives
  • Perform story mapping exercises with your team to breakdown work for development
  • Identify cross-team dependencies impacting or impacted by your product lane
  • Prepare for and participate in Roadmap Planning and sprint activities
  • Partner closely with our legal, compliance, security, and risk teams to ensure that we are delivering a product that meets all legal and compliance requirements.
  • Guide the creation of user-facing communication & education related to features & capabilities.

Discovery & Strategy:
  • Partner with product leadership to refine vision and strategy for your product area.
  • Partner with engineering and UX/research to execute discovery activities that bring to light user needs & pain points
  • When appropriate, collaborate with the UX team to create usable experiences which are validated through rapid feedback and usability testing iterations.
  • Perform end user shadowing/conduct interviews and collaborate with our clinic, operations, provider, business stakeholders, and our design and research teams to identify and understand user problems to solve.
  • Work to understand DaVita's identified business problems in order to advance our product in a way that works for our users and stakeholders

Data-Driven Decision Making:

Identify and track OKRs for outcome-based advancements of the product
  • Use data in formulating problem statements and solution hypotheses that are quantifiable
  • Leverage product analytics to make informed decisions, monitor product performance, and continuously improve the product toward OKR achievement
  • Evaluate and prioritize potential features for your product area, and align features to respective objectives and key results (OKRs)


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of product experience, focused on digital products
  • Business acumen, an insatiable curiosity, and a desire to lead
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organization, communication skills
  • Inspire those around you to care about and understand the "why" behind a solution
  • Skilled in juggling multiple tasks, prioritizing them effectively, and delivering on tight deadlines.
  • An ability to thrive in an organization that changes quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to easily build expertise in unfamiliar domains
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to partner with technical, clinical, and senior business stakeholders to accomplish goals
  • Experience building health tech products and 0-1 products from inception to launch
  • Experience writing requirements for user stories or software features, creating complex spreadsheets or presentations, working in health care, or working towards the delivery of web or mobile applications
  • Industry experience can be an invaluable substitute for direct product management skills. Candidates that possess knowledge of nephrology practices, using electronic health care records systems, or providing care for renal patients will be strongly considered
