Your New Role...

CNN is looking for a Product Manager II to join our Ad Product team, focused on evolving and expanding CNN's core advertising business across web, mobile app and CTV platforms. You will be responsible for evolving CNN's advertising business - leading efforts across our ad formats and platforms initiatives. You will work closely with partners in engineering, ML, product design, data, analytics, experimentation, ad tech, ad ops and ad sales to develop products and user experiences that deliver impactful, respectful, and relevant ad experiences.

Your Role Accountabilities...
  • Execute on Ad Product Roadmap. Define and deliver on the ad product roadmap across platforms, balancing ad revenue performance with user experience. Partner with stakeholders across CNN & WBD and proactively identify Data, AI Innovation opportunities based on user needs and company goals, and translate opportunities into clear, prioritized and actionable product requirements.
  • Develop New Ad Products: Partners with ad sales leadership to conceptualize, build and launch innovative advertising solutions that meet market demand and unlock new revenue streams.
  • Manage Stakeholder Communication: Communicate roadmap priorities, rationale for product decisions, and progress on product initiatives with stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Work across a highly matrix organization to deliver complex advertising products that meet market demand and unlock new revenue streams. Create user stories, manage a robust backlog and work closely with our engineering team to ensure they understand product requirements and that the team is continuously launching new features and functionality that address user needs while increasing revenue.
  • Champion Experimentation. Drive a robust testing roadmap to continuously optimize ad performance, aligning cross functional teams on experimentation goals and owning stakeholder communication of testing lifecycles.
  • Leverage Data for Impact. Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategy, prioritize opportunities and across key monetization and engagement metrics.


Qualifications & Experience...
  • 4+ years of experience in consumer product management at publisher with a strong preference for candidates with ad product development
  • Exceptional Stakeholder Leadership: Proven ability to influence and collaborate across a wide range of stakeholders, including product, engineering, ad sales, ad ops, and executive leadership.
  • Product Development Experience: Experience with consumer product management best practices (e.g., identifying customer needs, prototyping, maintaining hypothesis driven roadmaps).
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Experience working with experimentation, analytics, and performance metrics (engagement metrics, ad metrics, page performance) to guide product strategy.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $77,000.00 - $143,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
