Job Title: Product Manager I, Key Project Edge AI

About this position:Advantech is seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to lead the projects and go-to-market execution of Edge AI-related projects. This role is pivotal in aligning internal capabilities with the sales team to drive innovation, growth, and customer success.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in technology and customer engagement. You'll be involved across the full product lifecycle from initial requirement gathering, architecture recommendation, design-in, and delivery.
Responsibilities: - Partner with the sales team to engage customers, recommend the most suitable Edge AI solutions based on Advantech's product portfolio and services, and drive project design wins.
- Lead and coordinate Edge AI key projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including application engineering, product management, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure successful project execution and on-time delivery.
- Serve as the primary project interface between customers, sales, and internal teams to manage project schedules, risks, technical discussions, and issue resolution.
- Work closely with product management and quality teams to resolve product- and project-related issues, driving corrective and preventive actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop go-to-market plans, customer success stories, and solution-focused campaigns that accelerate Edge AI business growth.
- Coordinate with global teams, including headquarters in Taiwan and regional teams in Asia, on project execution, product updates, and business initiatives.
- Monitor project progress, customer satisfaction, and business opportunities, proactively identifying risks and driving actions to improve project success and customer experience.
- Support strategic customer engagements, solution demonstrations, and technical/business presentations for key Edge AI opportunities.
Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in product management, project management, business development, solution engineering, or related roles within the industrial PC, embedded computing, Edge AI, or technology industry.
- Solid understanding of x86 computing platforms, AI hardware ecosystems (e.g., NVIDIA, Intel, AMD), and emerging Edge AI technologies and market trends.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, partners, and executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience managing customer-facing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project execution and business success.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Due to collaboration with global teams across multiple time zones, occasional meetings outside regular business hours may be required.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data, track partnership performance, and report on key metrics and KPIs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Salesforce.com, social media marketing, and SAP is a plus.
