Full Job Description
The opportunity

This role brings structure and clarity to system complexity. It ensures product intent is clearly defined, consistently applied, and ready to be built so teams can move with confidence and users experience a coherent system.

It defines what gets built and how it is structured, translating direction into scenario-driven scope grounded in real-world behavior.

At its core, this role shapes clear, buildable product decisions through learning loops powered by AI-assisted prototyping, build-learn cycles, and build-to-validate approaches.

Ensure customers experience predictable, understandable, and trustworthy system behavior across all home energy interactions.

Main responsibilities

"Bring clarity to complexity. Structure what gets built."

  • This role sits at the center of mobile and on-device product surfaces, where system behavior, user expectations, and technical constraints meet.
It defines what the product should do, how it is structured across surfaces, and how different parts of the system work together including where functionality lives, how information is surfaced, and how system states and transitions are represented.
  • Work is driven through co-creation with Design and Engineering using AI-assisted prototyping and build-learn cycles to shape and refine scenarios in real time. Rather than relying on static specifications, Product direction is refined through iterative learning, prototyping, validation, and scenario evolution, so direction is established through building, testing, and evolving scenarios until behavior is clear, consistent, and ready for delivery.
  • Product defines what gets built and how it is structured, ensuring decisions are coherent across the system.

Key Areas of Focus
  • Own Release Scope through prioritized scenarios reflecting real-world usage
  • Shape scenarios through build-learn cycles and AI-assisted prototyping
  • Ensure scenarios express clear system behavior and key edge cases while allowing refinement through testing
  • Define clear product requirements and constraints derived from prioritized scenarios
  • Align Design, Engineering, and Readiness on expected system behavior
  • Ensure consistency across mobile and on-device interactions
  • Identify gaps and inconsistencies early through build-to-validate approaches
  • Drive prioritization and trade-offs aligned with product goals

Key requirements

  • 7+ years in product management or product ownership
  • Strong experience with mobile and complex, high-usage products
  • Strong fundamentals in prioritization, trade-offs, requirements, and release scope ownership
  • Experience working across multiple touchpoints including device interfaces

Experience That Will Accelerate Impact
  • Familiarity with scenario-based thinking and system modeling
  • Ability to identify gaps early and refine direction through iteration
  • Experience working across hardware and software systems
  • Exposure to connected devices, IoT, or energy systems
  • Defining behavior across multi-surface and system-driven products

Profile

  • Demonstrated ability to bring clarity to complexity, translating ambiguity into well-defined product opportunities and turning complex inputs into structured, actionable product decisions.
  • Strong capability to make impact-driven decisions, balancing priorities and trade-offs while defining clear requirements that enable teams to focus on what matters most.
  • Proven ability to align and influence cross-functional teams through effective communication, sound judgment, and systems thinking across both physical products and digital experiences, while driving momentum in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset seeing opportunities where others see obstacles and
taking smart initiative to move ideas forward.
  • Results-oriented, turning goals into clear plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong EQ: you listen deeply, communicate with clarity, build trust across diverse teams, and navigate change with empathy and resilience
  • Ability to translate end-user applications into clear scenarios, requirements, and release scope.

What's in it for you

  • Be part of a company that is backed by numerous globally respected investors and has world-changing patents in an industry changing for the first time in history.
  • Grow your professional experience amongst blue chip partners and a close-knit team of committed and experienced energy experts who deeply care about the work they do.
  • Full benefits package including Health insurance, Health virtual care, employee stock options plan (ESOP) and flexible hours. Parking available or with our employer commute program a short walking distance from Metro Namur.
