Full Job Description
About Hadrian

Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.

We recently raised $260 million dollar Series C to accelerate this mission. We are excited to be launching a new Factory in Mesa, Arizona, a 270,000 square foot facility that will create 350 new jobs immediately. We are opening a new headquarters to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to serve naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.

Hadrian works with startups, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and major defense contractors across space, shipbuilding, and aviation to scale production, reduce costs, and accelerate delivery on mission-critical programs. We are backed by leading investors including Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz. Our fast-growing team is united by a shared mission to reindustrialize American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond!

What you'll do:
  • Define and own product strategy and requirements from discovery and requirements definition to launch, adoption, and iteration.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership and communication to drive product success and accomplishment of business objectives, not only for current product lines but across the portfolio as we continue to expand.
  • Work closely with and source requirements directly from the users you're designing for, including: Technicians, CAD programmers, Manufacturing engineers, Operations leadership, etc.
  • Translate customer workflows into clear software and hardware requirements with a seamless user experience.
  • Synthesize and collaborate with core stakeholders to build the product roadmap ensuring business objectives are achieved, stakeholders are informed, and efforts are prioritized appropriately.
  • Maintain a complete system approach to problem solving ensuring all interdependencies, future expansion, and change management are accounted for.
  • Actively contribute to the product management culture and foundation of product management at Hadrian.
What we are looking for
  • 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 3+ years of experience in hardware, software and/or robotics.
  • Strong track record of delivering end-to-end success across complex hardware and software systems.
  • Ability to assess the essence of the problem, provide a structured approach to finding solutions, and organization to align the team.
  • Proven ability to think critically about tactical challenges while also maintaining a clear long term strategic perspective.
  • Ease in aligning and prioritizing cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and supply chain.
  • Experience synthesizing a variety of inputs into a product roadmap that ultimately achieves business objectives.
  • Enthusiasm towards the mission of rebuilding the American industrial base.
  • Organization and ability to build processes and align diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Strong data driven approach with experience leveraging metrics, dashboards, and analytics to inform decisions.
  • Familiarity with CNC Machining, additive manufacturing, MES/ERP systems, or factory automation preferred but not required.

About Hadrian

Hadrianadri?ja?n?s]; 24 January 76 – 10 July 138) was Roman emperor from 117 to 138. He was born in Italica, a Roman municipium founded by Italic settlers in Hispania Baetica and he came from a branch of the gens Aelia that originated in the Picenean town of Hadria, the Aeli Hadriani. His father was of senatorial rank and was a first cousin of Emperor Trajan. Hadrian married Trajan's grand-niece Vibia Sabina early in his career before Trajan became emperor and possibly at the behest of Trajan's wife Pompeia Plotina. Plotina and Trajan's close friend and adviser Lucius Licinius Sura were well disposed towards Hadrian. When Trajan died, his widow claimed that he had nominated Hadrian as emperor immediately before his death. Rome's military and Senate approved Hadrian's succession, but four leading senators were unlawfully put to death soon after. They had opposed Hadrian or seemed to threaten his succession, and the Senate held him responsible for their deaths and never forgave him. He earned further disapproval among the elite by abandoning Trajan's expansionist policies and territorial gains in Mesopotamia, Assyria, Armenia, and parts of Dacia. Hadrian preferred to invest in the development of stable, defensible borders and the unification of the empire's disparate peoples. He is known for building Hadrian's Wall, which marked the northern limit of Britannia.
