Full Job Description
*This role requires a hybrid schedule in our Charlotte, NC office; Tuesday-Thursday in-office, Monday and Friday remote. This role is not eligible for relocation assistance.

The Position:
LendingTree is seeking a Product Manager to lead our experimentation and funnel optimization efforts across digital experiences. This role will be pivotal in enhancing user experiences and driving revenue growth through rigorous A/B and multivariate testing. You will be responsible for managing and scaling a comprehensive experimentation program and working collaboratively with product, marketing, design, engineering, and analytics teams to continuously improve funnel performance and user engagement. A critical component of this role will be balancing deep analysis with creative problem-solving and exceptional stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Management: Design and oversee end-to-end A/B and multivariate testing strategies, from hypothesis generation to execution and analysis, ensuring statistical rigor and alignment with key business objectives. Create processes to scale experimentation while delivering quick results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with product, marketing, design, analytics, and business leadership teams to identify, prioritize, and execute experiments that improve the customer journey across digital touchpoints for multiple lines of business. Effectively communicate experiment findings and insights to stakeholders across the organization, including executive leadership.
  • Champion Customer Experience: Identify and advocate for user experience improvements, ensuring that experimentation strategies align with customer needs and pain points while driving business goals such as higher engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Roadmap & Prioritization: Coordinate across multiple departments to understand needs and opportunities. Develop and manage a rolling, prioritized testing roadmap that is aligned with overarching business and user experience goals.
  • KPI Tracking & Reporting: Ongoing tracking of key performance metrics. Assess experiment effectiveness and provide clear, actionable reporting on test results. Provide regular updates to leadership on the performance of experimentation programs, offering insights to inform product and business strategy
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Demonstrated ability to identify areas for improvement within product workflows. Leveraging data and insights to drive measurable enhancements in performance, usability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Mentorship & Team Development: Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous learning with the end user in mind. Help shape the organization's experimentation practices and evangelize data-driven decision-making across teams.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or experimentation roles, with a strong focus on A/B testing, multivariate experiments, and direct to consumer digital experiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Proven track record of identifying growth opportunities, driving measurable improvements in conversion rates, user engagement, and business metrics through rigorous testing and optimization strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to move initiatives forward quickly in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Experience with traffic acquisition through multiple digital marketing channels (e.g., paid search, display ads, SEO, social) and media buying strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders using data and experiment results.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience principles, the ability to recognize phenomenal design and design experiments with user-centric focus.
  • Experience with experimentation tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target), web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) all a plus.
  • Familiarity with experimentation methodologies (e.g., Bayesian statistics, multi-arm bandit testing).
  • Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from complex datasets and provide clear recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in agile product development environments.
  • Experience working in financial services, lead generation, or a similar industry is preferred, but not required.


The base pay range for this position in Seattle/New York/Colorado/California is $120,000-$160,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on internal factors, job-related knowledge, and experience.
