  • Lead product allocations during supply disruptions, prioritizing manufacturing and communication with sales.
  • Execute marketing strategies, price management, and contract strategies with the sales account manager and business team.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends and set effective pricing strategies for growth and profitability.
  • Lead the upscaling of new products and make versus buy decisions, coordinating with various departments.
  • Drive operational improvements and enhance cooperation between planning and manufacturing teams.

Title: Product Manager - Formulated Solutions Americas
Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $142,000 - $180,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 1 day remote per week
Relocation Available

Focus: The Product Manager for Formulated Solutions is responsible for driving the price and margin management of downstream Epoxy businesses for the Americas region.

Product Manager - Formulated Solutions Americas Essential Responsibilities:
  • Closely monitor supply and demand balance, collaborate closely with finance, planning, manufacturing, procurement, and sales to maximize asset and business margins.
  • Coordinate and support global peers to optimize asset strategy and network to support medium/long-term business growth.
  • Steer commercial aspects of operational planning to minimize inventory while ensuring smooth supply to meet customer demand.
  • Lead product allocations during periods of supply disruptions by providing clear prioritization to manufacturing and supply chain and working closely with sales to manage communication to minimize customer supply disruptions.
  • Support the execution of marketing strategies, price management, and contract strategies by working closely with the sales account manager and business management team.
  • Conduct constant market research to understand market trends and pricing direction to set pricing strategies for various products and applications to maximize growth and profitability.
  • Lead the process of upscaling new products and make versus buy decisions, coordinate with technology, marketing, sales, manufacturing and procurement.
  • Drive operational improvements and foster cooperation between planning and manufacturing teams.
  • Work in close alignment with the global marketing, sales and planning teams to set global customer strategies and maximize downstream asset profitability.


Product Manager - Formulated Solutions Americas Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree* in Chemistry, Business, Supply Chain, Basic Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline; Master's Degree* preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience in product management, supply chain, marketing and/or sales; specialty chemicals industry preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with epoxy or related industry/customers preferred.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills; ability to influence without authority.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in presentation and report design/delivery.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred.
  • Must possess a valid US Driver's license.


*Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
