Full Job Description
Eaton Corporation is seeking a Product Manager to develop and drive the strategy and vision for their Single-Phase Line-Interactive UPS portfolio within the Distributed IT organization, part of the Electrical Sector - Americas business. Reporting to the Single Phase UPS Product Line Manager for Physical Infrastructure within the D-IT business unit, you will be responsible for developing and driving the strategy for Eaton's single-phase line-interactive UPS product category. This position can be based in Woodridge, IL, Raleigh, NC, or Asheville, NC.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
• Develop and implement the strategic plan for the product category, including product development projects and marketing programs, to achieve growth in orders and sales and maintain profitability of the product line.
• Oversees the development and implementation of strategic short-term and long-term objectives and business plans for the product line. This includes achieving sales volume targets, market share, strategic pricing, pricing realization, profitability, and maintaining product quality standards.
• Directs and oversees new product development and introduction of new products into the market.
• Develops and owns product roadmaps and the execution of the product lifecycle.
• Regularly participates in and reports out product line financials, including forecasting and performance to plan.
• Collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Segments, Business Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Accountable for product line P&L; responsibility for volume, price, margin, and profit.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated track record driving product line growth
  • Understanding of Product Development processes or similar stage gate processes
  • Experience with SAP, Enovia, and Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
  • Solid negotiation skills and knowledge of marketing techniques including experience in sales
  • 3+ years experience in Product Management or related field
  • 3+ years of experience working with single-phase UPS Systems (or related technologies)
