Full Job Description
Position Summary:
Lead the development and execution of products that enable reliable data exchange between payer and provider organizations to improve care coordination and quality. Drive the roadmap and deliverables for ADT notifications and payer-sourced Quality Care Gaps integrations so external data appears in provider workflows and supports value-based care outcomes. This role is based in Boston, MA with hybrid work options. This role reports to the Director of Product, Data and Ecosystem, Payer Interop.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Own the product vision and roadmap for ADT notifications and Quality Care Gaps integrations; develop business cases to support prioritization.
• Define epics and user stories that clearly articulate business, clinical, UX, and support requirements with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to design secure, scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Engage payer partners and internal stakeholders to define data exchange specifications, gap-closure feedback loops, and measure attribution logic.
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog, making trade-off decisions to balance scope, schedule, and outcomes.
• Monitor regulatory and standards developments (for example, 21st Century Cures Act, FHIR R4, DEQM/DaVinci) and ensure product compliance.
• Measure product performance using data and metrics; iterate on features to improve adoption and clinical impact.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across geographies to support delivery and ongoing operations.
• Promote an API-first approach and ensure integrations are designed for scalability and maintainability.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted tools into product workflows to automate routine data mapping, prioritize gap closures, and provide clinician-facing decision support; pilot use cases, validate outputs, and guide the team in safe, practical adoption.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
• Support go-to-market readiness by documenting requirements, participating in client conversations, and enabling onboarding.
• Provide guidance on operational support and post-launch enhancements to ensure long-term value.
• Contribute stakeholder-facing communications, including status updates, roadmaps, and impact reports.
• Participate in cross-team forums to share learnings and improve platform capabilities.
• Help define support processes and feedback loops that improve data quality and gap attribution.
Expected Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of product management or engineering experience, preferably in healthcare technology or integrations.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR R4 and HL7 CCD, and familiarity with FHIR-based quality/care gap exchange frameworks (for example, DEQM, DaVinci).
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, client teams, and external partners (payers, providers, ACOs).
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute product roadmaps and prioritize competing needs.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using metrics and data to inform decisions.
• Ability to engage on technical details and serve as a subject-matter partner with architects and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with value-based care concepts, HEDIS measures, or quality gap programs is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and writing PRDs, epics, and user stories.
• Experience evaluating or piloting AI tools and applying them to product workflows is preferred.
