Manager, Product Management - Aftermarket
Position Summary
The Manager, Product Management - Aftermarket leads the Aftermarket Product Management team and is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across the company's aftermarket portfolio. This role oversees the lifecycle management of aftermarket products and solutions-including replacement parts, services, upgrades, and value-added offerings-while ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
The Manager partners cross-functionally with Sales, Service, Engineering, Operations, and customers to develop innovative aftermarket strategies that enhance customer value, increase recurring revenue, and strengthen the organization's competitive position.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Aftermarket Product Management team to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
  • Develop and execute the overall aftermarket product strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle for aftermarket offerings, including replacement parts, service programs, upgrades, retrofits, and other value-added solutions.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities to drive portfolio growth and profitability.
  • Evaluate product portfolio performance and implement strategies to optimize revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Service, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain to successfully develop, launch, and support aftermarket products and services.
  • Establish pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for aftermarket offerings.
  • Drive initiatives focused on customer retention, recurring revenue growth, and long-term customer value.
  • Utilize customer insights, market research, and performance metrics to prioritize product investments and improvements.
  • Develop business cases and financial analyses to support product decisions and strategic investments.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on portfolio performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centric product development.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience
  • Proven leadership experience in Product Management, Aftermarket, Service, or related business functions.
  • Experience managing product portfolios throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Manufacturing, industrial equipment, or capital equipment experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success driving profitable growth, customer retention, and strategic product initiatives.
