Product Manager - Controls

About the Role

Spirax Sarco is seeking a dedicated Product Manager - Control Valves to help craft the future of Steam Thermal Solutions (STS).

Steam Thermal Solutions (Spirax Sarco USA) is one of four businesses within Spirax Group, with global coverage across 67 operating units. Steam Thermal Solutions helps customers control and manage steam within their mission of critical industrial applications, helping to put food safely on the world's tables and keep our hospitals running. Spirax Sarco USA and its sister brand, Gestra USA, operate as their own entities catering to different parts of the steam industry while sharing customers and operational services.
• National travel required for client site visits
• Applicants must be located less than an hour's commute to a major airport
• Ideally applicants are in a commutable distance to HQ in Blythewood, SC or 1 of our 3 hub sites located in Houston, SC/ Chicago, IL/ Bethlehem, PA

Required Education and Experience
• BS degree (Preferred in engineering)
• Experience with control valves (Steam industry is a plus)
• Ability to travel nationally to client sites 50% of the time
• A portfolio demonstrating successful projects is a plus
• Expertise in steam industry products (or related industry) to include specific technical or industry knowledge
• Outstanding project management and interpersonal skills
• Professional and sincere empathy for customers with dedication to understanding their challenges

Key Responsibilities
• Promote control valves and metering products at customer sites
• Partner with Spirax Sales Engineers and distributors to improve knowledge and grow sales
• Coordinate all activities related to providing tools, field support and inventory position ofour steam products
• Apply market research to identify customer needs
• Collaborate with other cross-functional colleagues and our agency partners that span production, business intelligence, data science, marketing, design, and engineering to drive measurable outcomes
• Compare our products to competitors to assess market competition and work with the Business Development Team to launch innovative products
• Provide management with detailed analyses and reports
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the steam thermal solutions arena, continuously refining and enhancing our execution capabilities
