Full Job Description
This position reports to:
Manager, Product Management

Working as the Product Manager for Connectivity and Accessories in our New Berlin, WI location, you will be a key member of the Motion Drive Products product management team. In this role, you will have local U.S. responsibility for the connectivity and accessory portfolio supporting ABB drive products, including fieldbus adapters, keypad platforms, drive configuration software tools, and related accessories.

You will be accountable for driving profitable growth of the connectivity and accessories offering across Industrial, HVAC, Water and OEM markets. This includes managing the portfolio through all phases of the product lifecycle, aligning local market needs with global Product Group strategy, and ensuring the offering supports ABB's broader drive product growth objectives.

This role will require close collaboration with global product management, sales, technical support, product marketing, channel partners, OEM business development, and other cross-functional stakeholders. A key focus will be ensuring that ABB's connectivity and software tool offering is competitive, easy to position, and aligned with customer expectations for communication, commissioning, configuration, and usability.

This role reports to the Manager of Product Management for Industrial and Machinery and works closely with the Product Market Managers for Industrial, HVAC, Water and OEM products.

This role is contributing to the Motion Drive Products Division in the US.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Own the technical specification for regional product and lead regional product life cycle management
  • Run product development process stage gates for regional products, own local product creation of global products and support production ramp-up
  • Define new product plans, sets technical, price, cost, and application targets. Contributes to development of new portfolios by leading customer need and value analysis, prioritizes new product development project and coordinating cross functional teams.
  • Work with Global Product Management, local Product Market Manager and marketing to define the market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of work experience in a complex global business environment, Associate degree and 7 years of work experience in a complex global business environment or High School diploma with 12 years of experience required
  • Progressive experience in product management and customer relationship management required
  • Proven track record of cross functional collaboration, excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic mindset and passion to drive business results required
  • Travel up to 10%
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English required
