Position Description: CGI is looking for a Product Manager to drive improvements in developer experience across engineering and platform teams.
This position is required in one of the following locations: Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN, Birmingham, AL
Your future duties and responsibilities: In this role, you'll partner closely with developers to understand pain points, workflow friction, and opportunities to enhance internal tools and processes. You'll lead pilots, empathy sessions, surveys, and focus groups to gather feedback, then translate those insights into actionable backlog items and prioritized product recommendations.
You'll collaborate cross functionally with Platform Engineering, Product, UX, and engineering teams to shape roadmap priorities based on developer feedback. A key part of this role involves defining and tracking Developer Experience KPIs and OKRs - covering adoption, satisfaction, onboarding, usability, and productivity - and turning successful pilots into scalable, repeatable processes.
You'll also own product communications around launches, enhancements, and roadmap updates, and regularly report outcomes and insights to leadership. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys blending research, data, and stakeholder collaboration to make developers' day to day work better.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 5+ years in product management, program management, developer experience, or a related delivery role
. Comfortable leading pilots, focus groups, empathy sessions, and surveys to gather real feedback
. Skilled at turning qualitative and quantitative input into clear, prioritized product decisions
. Experience defining and tracking KPIs/OKRs around adoption, satisfaction, and productivity
. Background supporting product launches, rollout plans, and change communications
. Strong facilitation and stakeholder management - able to work across engineering, UX, and product teams
Desired Skillset:
. Familiarity with Developer Experience (DX) or Internal Developer Platform (IDP) concepts
. Exposure to developer tooling like Backstage, GitLab CI/CD, or developer portals
. Background in product discovery, experimentation, or user research
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $110,100.00.
