Product Manager

Manufacturing Department

Position Summary:

The Product Manager, Production Manufacturing manages and leads the activities of the Production Manufacturing section to accomplish manufacturing targets/objectives, budgeted financial objectives, and customer requirements. This role is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence in support of short and long-term objectives and strategies.

Outline of Duties:
  • Provides direct support in the day-to-day coaching and leading of section
  • Manages and oversees section TPM, Kaizen, Training activities, and KPIs
  • Ensures compliance to all SIA policies and procedures
  • Responsible for development of Section strategies and targets to support all initiatives.
  • Supports all budget planning, controls
  • Studies the manufacturing processes and identifies opportunities for process improvement or efficiency optimization.
  • Responsible for safety of all Associates in section
  • Oversee and support daily staffing needs
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in organizational leadership, industrial manufacturing, related field, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
  • Four years of relevant experience including previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing facility
  • Willingness and ability to rotate between 1st and 2nd shift assignments on a schedule or as needed


Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in relavent field
  • Previous management experience in automotive manufacturing
