Product ManagerManufacturing DepartmentPosition Summary:The Product Manager, Production Manufacturing manages and leads the activities of the Production Manufacturing section to accomplish manufacturing targets/objectives, budgeted financial objectives, and customer requirements. This role is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence in support of short and long-term objectives and strategies.
Outline of Duties:- Provides direct support in the day-to-day coaching and leading of section
- Manages and oversees section TPM, Kaizen, Training activities, and KPIs
- Ensures compliance to all SIA policies and procedures
- Responsible for development of Section strategies and targets to support all initiatives.
- Supports all budget planning, controls
- Studies the manufacturing processes and identifies opportunities for process improvement or efficiency optimization.
- Responsible for safety of all Associates in section
- Oversee and support daily staffing needs
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in organizational leadership, industrial manufacturing, related field, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
- Four years of relevant experience including previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing facility
- Willingness and ability to rotate between 1st and 2nd shift assignments on a schedule or as needed
Desired Qualifications:- Master's degree in relavent field
- Previous management experience in automotive manufacturing
