Full Job Description
WAGO Corporation is seeking a Product Manager for Automation Controls and Networking. This role will lead the development and execution of messaging strategy, guide product launches, and serve as a key interface with both sales teams and customers. You will also drive roadmap contributions by defining new features and products tailored to the Americas market. Product responsibilities include PLCs, IP20 and IP67 distributed I/O systems, and Ethernet-based networking devices. This position is based in Germantown Wisconsin.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial automation market
  • Experience with PLC devices and Ethernet switches is a plus


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Achieve and surpass revenue goals for the assigned product portfolio
  • Research and analyze market trends, customer challenges, and competitive dynamics, converting insights into actionable product initiatives
  • Define and prioritize product features, technology enhancements, and platform roadmap evolution across mechanical, electrical, firmware, cybersecurity, and communication standards
  • Maintain accurate and up to date product data, including forecasts, pricing, configurations, and supporting documentation
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert Automation and networking platforms, supporting sales teams, channel partners, and strategic customers
  • Manage locally developed automation product lifecycle
  • Develop pricing strategies, value propositions, and competitive positioning that strengthen market presence
  • Drive revenue growth through training sessions, webinars, customer presentations, solution materials, and marketing content
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, cost optimization, and proactive lifecycle management
  • Work closely with global product managers to ensure portfolio alignment and strategic consistency across regions
  • Build and maintain marketing tools and assets to increase brand awareness and product visibility
  • Partner with Industry Managers to promote cross selling opportunities and expand product adoption within targeted vertical markets
  • Must be able to travel on an airplane within North America and internationally
  • Minimum 25% travel
