Full Job Description
As a Product Manager for Atlas, you are responsible for defining the frontier of humanoid robotics in the world. You aren't just managing a product; you are architecting the technology that enables us to deliver end-to-end solutions - spanning hardware capabilities, advanced AI models, and sophisticated software. You will play a critical role in allowing Atlas to solve the most complex automation challenges for the world's largest manufacturing enterprises.

In this role you will own the product strategy and execution roadmap for the automation platform software that enables the future of general purpose humanoids. Atlas is the world's most capable enterprise-grade robot, engineered to take on the most challenging work in industry. You will define the roadmap for mission-critical software that empowers customers and internal teams to deploy humanoid solutions quickly and seamlessly: the shared platform infrastructure and customer-facing authoring and deployment tools that enable multi-purpose robots to be put to work across every industry

This is a highly technical role that requires a proven track record of synthesizing a scalable product vision, balancing sophisticated backend engineering requirements with an uncompromising focus on end-user utility. You will translate the needs of high-scale customers into a powerful software ecosystem, creating the tools required to bring diverse automation visions to life simultaneously.

Day to day activities:
  • Develop a strategic business plan and roadmaps critical to providing full product solutions to our customers.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between prospects and engineers to design, build, and deploy innovative proof-of-concept projects for Atlas in the manufacturing market.
  • Work with prospects remotely and on-site to understand their needs, how they could use our products, and how we can help them succeed.
  • Conduct gap and competitor analysis of our current and next gen solutions.
  • Document and distill market information into high-quality artifacts to inform internal discussions and start the design process.
  • Assess market needs in conjunction with the technological frontier to shape a cohesive and realistic product development roadmap
  • Work with internal and external developers to design APIs and agentic interfaces to accelerate Atlas application development and integration.


Desired Skills:
  • Minimum 9 years of experience as a product manager or in a relevant industry
  • Proven ability to create create a long term product vision that addresses diverse market needs while maintaining a clear, executable roadmap for engineering
  • Proven ability to translate existing customer processes into requirements for end-to-end software solutions that solve a range of customer problems in a single market
  • Experience identifying market gaps, unmet customer needs, and high-potential entry points
  • Extensive experience working embedded and cross functionally with software engineering teams spanning backend to frontend to build B2B software solutions
  • Experience developing APIs for complex software system integration is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments typical of early-stage market exploration
  • Exceptional level of drive and autonomy
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management, documentation, and communication
  • Extensive experience with engaging counterparties from the loading dock to the C-Suite
  • Experience building product for manufacturing or logistics markets is a must
  • Product management experience for an early-stage product or scaling technology in an emerging market is a plus
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • Experience working with new technology introduction is a plus
  • Fluency in Korean language is a plus


Travel:
  • Travel to customer sites and regions of interest will be required (no more than 20%)
  • Otherwise, this role is expected to be onsite

The base pay range for this position is between $191,332.00 to $255,109.32 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental vision, 401(k), paid time off and a annual bonus structure. Additional details regarding these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer for employment.
