Your role:The Product Manager - Document Access will own the product strategy, discovery, and delivery for the company's central document storage and access service within the Alter Domus Intelligence platform. DocAccess is a foundational shared capability that serves multiple internal squads and external client users across Real Assets, Private Equity, and Private Credit.
Reporting to the Squad Lead, the role is responsible for defining and executing the DocAccess roadmap, translating upstream business and regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities, and ensuring the service evolves to meet the needs of a growing number of consuming squads and end clients.
The ideal candidate will combine strong platform product thinking with a working knowledge of document management, access control, API-based integrations, and data governance. They will operate at the intersection of Technology, Operations, Client Services, and Commercial teams, ensuring DocAccess remains a reliable, secure, and extensible service across the ADI ecosystem.
Your responsibilities:• Own the product roadmap end-to-end, from discovery through delivery and adoption, ensuring alignment with the broader ADI platform strategy• Define and maintain clear service boundaries, distinguishing what product owns from what belongs to upstream or downstream domain teams• Lead structured discovery with internal stakeholder teams to surface requirements, resolve ambiguity, and translate findings into well-reasoned product decisions• Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring delivery is sequenced around customer value and that epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria are clear and well-defined• Work closely with Engineering and Project Management in an agile delivery model, driving quality and predictability across sprints• Act as the primary point of contact for all consuming squads and internal stakeholders, maintaining proactive, structured communication on roadmap progress, dependencies, and trade-offs• Define KPIs for the service and track outcomes, using data and squad feedback to drive continuous improvement• Support commercial engagements where product capabilities are relevant to client-facing solutionsYour profile:• 5+ years of product management experience in an agile SaaS or fintech environment, with a clear track record of owning a product end-to-end, from discovery through delivery and adoption• Demonstrated ability to make decisions, drive clarity, and take accountability for outcomes• Strong stakeholder management skills across varying seniority levels and backgrounds: the ability to run structured, proactive engagement, hold the line on scope, and reason clearly when challenged• Confident communicator who can cut through noise, represent the product with conviction, and keep multiple stakeholder groups aligned• Demonstrated ability to define and defend service or product boundaries, recognizing scope creep and articulating trade-offs with a solid rationale• Outcome and KPI-driven mindset, measuring success by what was delivered and adopted• Comfortable working with technical concepts - REST APIs, event-driven systems, cloud-based architectures - well enough to collaborate with engineers as a peer• Practical and responsible use of AI tools, with demonstrated experience of where they add value in product management and where human judgment and direct engagement remain essentialYour AD Key Relationships• Squad Lead - Alter Domus Intelligence• Peer Product Managers• Engineering and Project Management teams• Senior Product and Technology Leadership• Data Governance, Data Security and Compliance teams• Operations, Client Services and Commercial teams#LI-SD1
