Full Job Description
We're hiring a Product Manager to own our claim-status and voice workflows inside Adonis's AI Agents platform. Agents work revenue cycle claims across payer and provider systems over API, payer portals, and the phone. This role owns two of those: figuring out where a claim stands with a payer, and calling payers to move claims forward. More of that calling is shifting to AI voice, and you'll own that build too.

You'll run these workflows day to day, from first requirements through launch and everything after, working closely with Agents product and engineering. We're looking for someone who knows revenue cycle, is comfortable in the technical details, and leans on data to decide what to fix next.

What You Will Do
Claim Status and Disposition
  • Own the workflows that check where a claim stands, across electronic status transactions, payer portals, and phone, and read what comes back.
  • Turn a payer's response into a clean, structured status the rest of the platform can act on.
  • Close the gaps: payers or channels we can't reliably reach, and responses we read wrong.
  • Set the acceptance criteria, edge cases, and quality bar for the workflows you own.
Voice Automation
  • Own the phone-based workflows Agents use to reach payers, and push their coverage, quality, and speed.
  • Set targets for call quality and coverage, track against them, and fix what's dragging.
  • Work with product and engineering to move more calling onto AI voice, and help stand up the new workflows.
Call Flows
  • Design and maintain the call flows Agents follow with payers: status checks, denial research, appeal follow-up.
  • Sit with the teams that own each workflow, get clear on what a call needs to accomplish, and build flows that hold up across different payer phone systems.
  • Keep flows current as payer phone trees and rules change, and fix the ones that stall or dead-end.
Working Across Teams
  • Learn from our revenue cycle experts how status and payer calls actually work, and turn that into workflow logic.
  • Work with engineering and deployment on configuration, integration, and getting workflows launch-ready.
  • Pull signal from results, failures, and the teams working denials and appeals, and turn it into the next round of improvements.
  • Coordinate with the payer connectivity team so the channels you need are live and reliable.
Measuring What Works
  • Own the metrics that matter here: status accuracy, call quality, coverage, reliability.
  • Read call outcomes and failures to find where flows or status checks are falling short.
  • Work with Analytics to see what's landing and decide what to build next.

What You Bring
Must Haves
  • 2-4 years in product management, with real examples of taking a workflow or feature from idea through launch and past it.
  • A working understanding of healthcare revenue cycle: claims, claim status, denials, and payer follow-up.
  • Time spent with RCM operators, billing teams, or healthcare customers, learning how they work and turning it into requirements.
  • Comfort in the technical details: APIs, data, integrations, and the trade-offs between API, portal, and phone.
  • You reach for data. You can define a metric, read it, and decide from it.
  • You explain things clearly, whether you're talking to an engineer, an operator, or a customer.
Nice to Haves
  • You've managed a vendor or third-party service against quality and coverage targets.
  • You've worked on voice or IVR automation, call scripting, or speech technology.
  • You know your way around EDI, especially 276/277 for claim status, with some exposure to 835 and 275/PWK.
  • You're comfortable with SQL or analytics tools.
  • You've come out of RCM operations or workflow design.

The base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $175,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus program, company equity, and a competitive benefits package.
