Full Job Description
About the Role

3E is looking for a Product Manager to join our Chemical & Workplace Safety Product team. This is a forward-looking role with the opportunity to take meaningful ownership from the start, turning complex customer and business problems into clear product direction, from discovery and requirements through prioritization, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.

You'll help shape solutions across our Chemical & Workplace Safety portfolio, including 3E Protect and related services. Working across Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, subject matter experts, and operational teams, you'll balance customer value, business priorities, stakeholder needs, and technical considerations. You'll be trusted to create a path forward when the answer isn't fully defined, asking the right questions, learning quickly, making sound decisions, and bringing clarity to ambiguity.

This opportunity could be a strong fit for an experienced Product Manager or someone with adjacent commercial, customer-facing, technology, or domain experience who has demonstrated strong product capabilities, defining problems, translating needs into requirements, evaluating solutions, influencing stakeholders, and driving measurable outcomes.

You'll join an established team with support from Product leadership and the opportunity to make visible contributions to solutions that help organizations address chemical and workplace safety challenges.

Location: East Coast preferred; candidates across U.S. time zones will be considered.

What You'll Do

Own and Prioritize Product Work
  • Own product initiatives from problem discovery and requirements through prioritization, planning, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Translate customer, market, and business needs into clear product requirements, priorities, and solution approaches.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous or inherited problems by clarifying needs, risks, trade-offs, and measures of success.
  • Balance competing priorities across initiatives while considering customer value, business goals, technical constraints, and timing.

Drive Product Delivery
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Product colleagues throughout planning, refinement, development, testing, release, and post-launch improvement.
  • Ensure teams are solving the right customer and business problems by providing clear context, requirements, and success criteria.
  • Evaluate workflows, applications, and opportunities for improvement, defining requirements and a clear path forward.
  • Own launch readiness, adoption tracking, and ongoing improvement for assigned product areas.

Champion the Customer and the Business
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, users, and their workflows through research, feedback, market discovery, and partnership with customer-facing teams.
  • Use customer insights, market context, and business priorities to inform product decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Partner across Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, subject matter experts, and operational teams to develop connected solutions.
  • Focus on measurable outcomes, including adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, and business impact.

Collaborate Across 3E
  • Communicate product direction, decisions, trade-offs, and progress clearly to technical, commercial, customer-facing, and leadership audiences.
  • Build alignment across teams and manage stakeholder expectations as priorities and needs evolve.
  • Lead through influence, bringing together the right perspectives to move initiatives forward.
  • Operate as a business owner for your assigned product areas, taking accountability for outcomes beyond feature delivery.

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years of experience in product management, EHS, chemical safety, regulatory compliance, product stewardship, or a related field.
  • B2B SaaS product management, commercial, or customer-facing experience, ideally with enterprise platforms supporting complex regulatory, content-driven, or service-based solutions.
  • Experience taking customer or business problems from discovery and requirements through prioritization, planning, and delivery, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, improving, or replacing business software or applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, bring structure to ambiguity, and create a path forward when the solution is not fully defined.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without formal authority, while balancing customer needs, commercial priorities, technical constraints, and timing.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to understand customer and stakeholder needs and translate them into clear requirements and solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to adapt as needs and priorities change.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and support day-to-day work, with sound judgment in validating and applying AI-generated outputs.
  • Based in the US in one of the states where 3E is authorized to hire, and eligible to work without sponsorship.

Helpful, But Not Required
  • Familiarity with EHS, chemical safety, or regulatory compliance; candidates without direct domain experience should have the ability and willingness to develop expertise quickly.
  • Experience with products that combine software with services, advisory, or content offerings.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum product development teams.
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, customer implementations, or complex enterprise workflows.

Our US Benefits Include:
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance and disability coverage
  • Open PTO and parental leave
  • 401(k) plan with company matching
