Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or related Engineering discipline
• Hands-on experience in airfoils investment casting is advantageous
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
• Familiarity with process control methods
• Proficient in executing action plans to achieve results
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and adapt to changing environments
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities
• Experience in leading programs or projects
• Proficient in major 3D CAD software
• Knowledge of Zero-Defect Program elements like PFMEA and Control Plans
• Six Sigma Certification is a plus
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes and controls for scrap elimination on assigned parts
• Write, issue, and update Engineering instructions regularly
• Manage product release activities to stay on schedule and within budget
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement changes
• Evaluate and improve processes for maintaining budgeted yields
• Conduct dimensional probability studies
• Initiate and submit product qualifications
• Create part-specific procedures
• Use statistical analysis for yield and dimensional integrity in casting
• Develop tooling concepts and coordinate design/build instructions
