Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials or related Engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience in the airfoils investment casting industry is a plus.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Working knowledge of process control methods.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership capabilities with experience in managing programs/projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D CAD software.
• Familiarity with Zero-Defect methodologies (PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Control).
• Six Sigma Certification is desirable.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective processes and controls to minimize scrap on assigned parts.
• Write and regularly update engineering instructions for clarity and compliance.
• Manage product release timelines while adhering to budget constraints.
• Identify and execute cost reduction strategies throughout engineering processes.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance processes to improve yield and meet budget requirements.
• Conduct studies on dimensional probabilities to ensure quality standards.
• Initiate and complete product qualification processes and documentation.
• Design and develop specific procedures for parts as needed.
• Utilize statistical and graphical analysis for process evaluation and yield improvement.
• Coordinate the design and build instructions for required tooling with internal and external resources.
