Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials or related Engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience in airfoils investment casting preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Knowledge of process control methods is essential.
• Ability to develop and execute effective action plans.
• Strong multitasking skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Interpersonal and leadership capabilities required.
• Proficient in a major 3D CAD software tool.
• Familiarity with Zero-Defect Program tools like PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Six Sigma Certification is a bonus.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes and define controls for effective scrap elimination.
• Write and update Engineering instructions regularly.
• Manage product release activities, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction in development.
• Evaluate and improve processes to meet budgeted yields.
• Conduct dimensional probability studies for accuracy.
• Initiate and complete product qualifications and documentation.
• Develop specific procedures for parts and tooling designs.
• Use statistical techniques to analyze yield and dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate detailed design instructions with tool rooms.
