What to Expect

This role is at the center of new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing operations, ensuring products are production-ready and successfully launched into manufacturing.

As a Product Engineer, you will own product readiness throughout the product lifecycle by driving cross-functional collaboration, managing product configurations, resolving manufacturing issues, and leading engineering changes in a fast-paced AI server manufacturing environment.

You will work closely with customers, design engineering, program management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and suppliers to deliver high-quality products on schedule.

What You'll Do
  • Own product readiness throughout the NPI and production lifecycle to ensure successful manufacturing execution.
  • Create, maintain, and manage product structures, Bills of Materials (BOM), product configurations, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Drive Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) from design release through manufacturing implementation.
  • Coordinate with Design Engineering, Program Management, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and customers to ensure engineering changes are accurately implemented.
  • Lead cross-functional issue resolution by identifying root causes, driving corrective actions, and minimizing production impact.
  • Support manufacturing readiness activities, including build preparation, material readiness, process validation, and production ramp.
  • Analyze production issues, manufacturing data, and yield trends to identify opportunities for process improvements, quality enhancement, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure product configuration accuracy across PLM, ERP, and MES systems.
  • Communicate project status, manufacturing risks, engineering changes, and recovery plans to internal teams and customers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and operational excellence.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.


What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, Operations Engineering, or Manufacturing Operations.
  • Experience supporting complex hardware products such as Servers, AI Servers, Networking, Storage, PCBA, or Electronic Systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, BOM structures, Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes, and manufacturing execution.
  • Experience with PLM (Agile, Windchill, Teamcenter), ERP (SAP, Oracle), or MES systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive solutions independently.
  • Strong project coordination and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Mandarin proficiency is a plus but not required.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in AI Server, Cloud Server, Data Center, or Enterprise Hardware manufacturing.
  • Experience working with ODM/OEM manufacturing or EMS environments.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
  • Experience working directly with global customers and engineering teams.
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: temporarily San Jose, CA until move to new facility in Sunnyvale, CA in late 2026 (on-site daily)
Compensation: $110,000 -132,000 annually, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
