The RoleFiretiger's agents find production problems before your customers find them and your CEO hears about them. Here's how it works:
- We ingest telemetry with high-cardinality detail and automatically model what your system is and how it works
- Customers define objectives in natural language (e.g., "customers should have OAuth configured correctly") that stay relevant as infrastructure evolves
- Agents autonomously investigate issues, determine root cause, and take action to remediate
You'll build the product experiences that make this magic legible-turning complex autonomous investigations into something engineers actually want to use. You'll also build the agents themselves.
This is not a role where you implement specs handed down from product. You will own problems end-to-end: talking to customers, defining what to build, building it, and iterating until it's great.
What You Will Accomplish- Agent interfaces: Design how engineers interact with AI agents operating their software systems. What should autonomous software operations look like? How do you give humans the right level of visibility and control?
- The agents themselves: Build the brains that turn messy natural-language objectives into the crisp outputs our customers rely on to run their businesses. You'll work on the core intelligence, not just the UI around it.
- Real-time collaboration tools: Create experiences where engineers can watch agents work, redirect wayward chains-of-thought, and collaborate on complex debugging sessions.
- Novel data exploration: Design new UX patterns for exploring high-cardinality data that agents surface. Think beyond traditional dashboards to new ways of understanding customer-specific issues at scale.
Who You Are- High Agency: You don't wait for permission. You see a problem, whether a confusing user flow or missing feature, and you fix it. You ship.
- Product-Minded: You care about the why behind what you build. You talk to customers. You have opinions about what makes developer tools great vs. frustrating.
- Full-Stack Capable: You're comfortable working across the stack to deliver complete features. You've built complex, data-heavy web applications and know how to make them fast.
- AI-Curious: You've built with LLMs, or at a minimum collaborated with agentic development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc) to write software. You're excited about the design challenges of human-AI collaboration.
Qualifications- Experience: 3-7 years building and shipping user-facing software products. You have examples of features you drove end-to-end that users loved.
- Communication: You can write a clear product spec, explain a technical tradeoff to a customer, and give direct feedback to teammates.
Compensation and Benefits- Competitive salary + meaningful early-stage equity
- 100% covered health/dental/vision
- Unlimited PTO
- Visa sponsorship available
- In-person in San Francisco
How to ApplyWe care more about your projects than your pedigree.
In your application, please include a link to something you've built: a side project, an open-source contribution, a product feature you're proud of. Show us how you think about building software products.
