Full Job Description
The Royal Caribbean Group's HR Transformation Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Product Director - CAM (Custom Applications Management) reporting to the Senior Director, HR Transformation.

The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary:

The Product Director - CAM (Custom Applications Management) provides enterprise leadership for the solution, delivery, and ongoing evolution of the organization's HR technology ecosystem. This role serves as the business owner for HR platforms, including SAP SuccessFactors and custom HR applications, while establishing strong SDLC governance, delivery discipline, and operational excellence across all our portfolio.

This leader bridges HR requirements, technology execution, while focusing on the employee experience, ensuring HR platforms are secure, scalable, well-governed, and aligned with business outcomes. The Director leads a team responsible for system configuration, enhancements, integrations, and day-to-day platform management while partnering closely with HR COEs, IT, and external vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direct leadership of the Sr Director of HR Transformation, the Product Director - CAM (Custom Applications Management) oversees the entire CAM Systems Solution pillar: managing the HR Systems Products team and allocating SMEs to HR systems within our HR eco-system.

HR Technology Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end HR systems and applications portfolio, including SAP SuccessFactors and custom-built HR solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise HR transformation objectives.

  • Execute against the HR technology roadmap, balancing innovation, stability, scalability, and regulatory compliance.


  • Partner with HR COEs to translate business requirements into technology-enabled solutions across the employee lifecycle (Core HR, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, Compensation, Workforce Management) and making sure they feel supported.


Delivery, SDLC & Governance

  • Establish and enforce SDLC, Agile, and program governance standards for HR systems, covering intake, design, build, test, deployment, and hypercare.

  • Provide oversight for large-scale HR initiatives and system implementations, ensuring disciplined scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.

  • Act as the senior escalation point for delivery risks, integration complexities, and cross-functional dependencies.


SAP SuccessFactors & Platform Leadership

  • Oversee configuration, enhancements, environment strategy, and release management for SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring secure and compliant operations at enterprise scale.

  • Ensure seamless integration between SuccessFactors, downstream systems, and custom applications.

  • Drive adoption, data quality, and system performance through KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement practices.


People & Vendor Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR Systems team who is composed of product owners within the portfolio.

  • Manage strategic relationships with IT, system integrators, and SaaS vendors, holding partners accountable to SLAs, delivery quality, and business outcomes.

  • Coach and influence senior HR and business leaders, serving as a trusted advisor on HR technology and transformation decisions.


Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze support data, incidents, and enhancements to drive root-cause remediation and platform optimization.

  • Ensure strong controls around security, data privacy, access management, and application governance.


  • Provide executive-ready reporting on platform health, roadmap progress, risks, and value realization.


Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • 12+ years of HR technology experience, including 3-5+ years leading enterprise teams in HR systems, HRIS, or HR transformation roles.

  • Deep hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors across multiple modules; experience supporting or governing custom HR applications strongly preferred.

  • Proven leadership of large-scale HR system implementations and transformations, from concept through stabilization.

  • Strong command of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and formal project/program management methodologies (PMP, SAFe, or equivalent preferred).

  • Exceptional ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels, influencing senior HR leaders.

  • Demonstrated success managing ambiguity, complex integrations, and cross-functional operating models.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

  • Skilled in customer-facing activities covering data preparation, cutover support, timeline management, and documentation preparation.

  • Experience working with current HR Technology platforms (e.g., Success Factors, Salesforce etc.) as well as legacy solutions.
