About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic professional that leads and manages successful launch of products across global markets by navigating regulatory, technical, and operational complexities, ensuring business continuity by managing strategic end-of-life product transitions with precision and urgency with seamless collaboration between project management, planning, and line management while maintaining full compliance with Quality Regulation Standards.

This is a highly collaborative, matrixed role requiring the ability to lead without direct authority. You will serve as the primary liaison between project teams, line management, and planning functions, orchestrating complex programs while keeping all parties informed, engaged, and accountable.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and natural collaborator who thrives in fast-paced, globally distributed environments and is passionate about bringing innovative healthcare solutions to patients worldwide.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

On Site Role
  • Lead and manage geographical expansion programs in close collaboration with Marketing, Regulatory, Technical Communications, and Operations teams to successfully launch products across global markets
  • Drive end-of-life program management, overseeing the strategic transition and replacement of legacy products within strict deadlines to ensure business continuity with minimal disruption to operations and customers
  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project's key stakeholders.
  • Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems


Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.


Nice To Have:
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred
  • Risk management and data-driven

  • Experience in product development of drug delivery devices, preferably insulin delivery devices
  • Regulatory compliance knowledge ISO Regulation and Medical Devices Regulations
  • Strong project management skills with experience effectively and efficiently executing against project contracts; knowledge of process and project planning best practices.
  • Experience in leading within matrix organizations requiring strong influenced management skills
  • Influence management skills; experience working collaboratively at all levels in matrix environment to build and maintain the positive relationships required to accomplish organizational goals

Benefits & Compensation

MiniMed offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$138,000.00 - $234,000.00

For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $153,000 - $261,000 USD.

Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
