The Role:

JD Power is seeking a Product Delivery Manager to drive the strategy and execution of industry-leading automotive dealer SaaS and data products and other solutions across automotive digital retailing, lending, insurance, and dealer operations.

This role is ideal for a technically grounded product leader who combines rigorous product management fundamentals with deep software engineering insight and automotive domain expertise. You will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring our solutions are architected for scalability, performance, and high-impact delivery.

What You'll Be Doing in This Role:
  • Bridge Product and Engineering: Communicate seamlessly with the engineering team at the architecture and code levels, reviewing technical designs, evaluating code-level trade-offs, and discussing API implementations with confidence.
  • Own the Product Lifecycle: Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through technical delivery and optimization.
  • Lead Discovery and Roadmap Strategy: Lead product discovery efforts, defining and executing a technical product roadmap aligned with business goals and infrastructure capabilities.
  • Translate Requirements: Translate complex business problems and customer insights into robust technical requirements, system architectures, and precise user stories.
  • Drive Execution: Partner closely with Engineering and Data Science teams to manage sprint planning, scope, timelines, and technical debt.
  • Leverage Data and AI: Utilize advanced analytics, data pipelines, and AI integration to build insight-driven products.
  • Track Performance: Monitor key performance metrics to continuously optimize product outcomes and system performance.


Qualifications of this Role:
  • Technical Background: Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record working in a hands-on technical capacity.
  • Product Expertise: Experience building complex SaaS, data, or analytics products within platform-based environments.
  • Engineering Acumen: Strong capability to read, understand, and discuss system architecture, database design, and code-level logic with engineering teams.
  • Agile Delivery: Experience managing product backlogs and driving agile delivery processes.
  • Automotive Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with dealer systems, F&I, digital retailing, automotive finance, and automotive data ecosystems/APIs is a strong asset.


This position has a starting salary range of $90K - $105K USD / $80K - $95K CAD per year. This is the range we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for the role at the time of posting. An employee's pay within the range is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, education, qualifications, experience, performance, business or organizational needs, and geographic location.
