Job Requirements

Essential Job Functions
• Recreate digital representations of gas turbine engine components from available scans, existing hardware, and/or detailed 2-D drawings.
• Develop solid NX 3D models and corresponding component manufacturing drawings.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) leveraging in-house expertise and industry standards.
• Provide support for supplier development activities related to components design.
• Adhere to the modeling and drawing architecture established by the Product Definition Engineering (PDE) team throughout all activities.
• Deliver 3D models and manufacturing drawings of High-Pressure Turbine Components like Nozzles, Blades, Shrouds, Disks, and Case.

Qualifications
• BS/MS in Mechanical or equivalent engineering from an accredited university or college.
• 5+ years of experience in design/drafting using Nx software and GD&T.
• Experience with Gas turbine engine components modeling and drafting.
• Due to nature of working candidates need to be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
• Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
• Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
• Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

Location: Greenville, SC (remote may be allowed for qualified candidates)

Travel: Minimal < 5%

Compensation type: Salary Exempt with a competitive package dependent on level of experience
