Product Consultant

What does a successful Product Consultant do at Fiserv?

As a successful Product Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in understanding, promoting and enhancing the features and capabilities of our products to both internal teams and external clients.

What you will do:
  • Collaborate with product development teams to understand the functionality and features of new and existing products
  • Work closely with clients and internal partners to trouble shoot, research and resolve product inquiries and impacting issues on client's use of Fiserv products
  • Take a "Client First" approach by providing consultative servicing to meet client and company objectives. Cultivate positive relationships with clients and internal partners
  • Act as a subject matter expert on our products during client interactions, demonstrations and training sessions
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and differentiation
  • Develop and deliver product presentations, training materials and documentation for both internal and external teams


What you will need to have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6-10 years of account management experience
  • 4-5 years of Fiserv experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with coaching skills to do the same.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service


What would be great to have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance
  • Previous experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • Knowledge of Fiserv systems, (PCF, ACS, Letters, DQ, Rules, 3270.)
  • Experience and knowledge of technical methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • Proven experience in a product consultant or similar role within the technology or software industry.
