As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of the product roadmap at Allianz Life comprising of fixed index annuities, registered index-linked annuities, and life insurance. In this role you will gain a deep understanding of our products and services and provide product expertise to internal customers. The ability to effectively collaborate across business functions and provide detailed analysis of complex concepts is essential for success. As a Senior Analyst you will have the opportunity to drive proactive collaboration with leadership, key distribution partners, and other supporting departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of our product features. The Senior Analyst role has a direct impact on execution of the company's goals and serving our customers.
What you do:- Contribute product knowledge and expertise in creation of the product strategy and concept
- Take product strategy and concept documents and translate content for execution to drive tangible business value
- Owner of the product specification document; create and maintain on an ongoing basis
- Collaborate with Product Development and Product Contract Group team members to align on product design in support of the specification document and other critical documents detailing the product design
- Serve as the subject matter expert of Allianz Life products for internal customers
- Work closely with our business and technical delivery teams to ensure product requirements are understood and work as expected
- Participate in peer reviews and provide sign - off on documents and collateral that support the product design, development, and launch
- Excellent cross organizational skills with a focus on ability to communicate effectively and comfortably within all levels of the company
- Identify opportunities to improve specification quality, documentation standards, governance processes, and operational efficiency through continuous process improvement.
- Support Scaled Agile development framework
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
- This position may also be required to serve as a Product Owner as department needs dictate
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Exceptional written communication skills and strong attention to detail with the ability to create clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation for both business and technical audiences

What you bring:- 5 or more years experience required: 3+ years managing multiple projects and coordinating with stakeholders
- Financial insurance industry experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.
Job posting range: $82,000 - $124,000
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
