Role Overview:This role is for a Product Analyst with a strong focus on UI design and development, business process analysis, and database analysis. The successful candidate will be instrumental in understanding business needs, designing user interfaces, and coordinating development efforts across multiple initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyzing existing CICS screens flows and IMS database elements, then mapping them to business needs.
- Reviewing analysis with business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Understanding business processes and requirements to design user interfaces in coordination with the UX team.
- Analyzing Postgres database to determine appropriate data for display on various screens.
- Defining methods to fetch data based on established business rules.
- Creating Jira stories, providing clarifications to the development team, defining acceptance criteria and test cases, verifying test results, and ensuring acceptance criteria are met.
- Collaborating closely with the Product Owner (PO) to understand and work towards Program Increment (PI) goals.
- Coordinating various work streams and tracking action items to ensure their timely closure.
Required Skills:- Experience with UI design and development.
- Ability to quickly learn business concepts and processes.
- Sound knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Strong Excel skills for documenting and presenting concepts and requirements.
- Capability to keep track of tasks across multiple initiatives.
- Proficiency in creating Jira stories, providing clarifications, defining acceptance criteria, and verifying test results.
Qualifications:- 8-10 years of experience.
- Knowledge of mainframe CICS is useful, though not mandatory.
