Job Description
Position's Contributions to Work Group:
* Serve as liaison among the Product Owner, Business Process Owners, business stakeholders, IT, development and testing teams, and external technology partners.
* Translate business needs into actionable requirements and support the product lifecycle from intake through testing, release, stabilization, and adoption. Core Responsibilities
* Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews; document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
* Maintain and refine the product backlog; assess enhancement requests and prepare items for prioritization, sprint planning, release planning, and vendor execution.
* Provide first-level functional support; investigate and document incidents, defects, and data issues; coordinate resolution and stakeholder communication.
* Plan and coordinate UAT, defect triage, retesting, business sign-off, deployment readiness, release validation, and stabilization.
* Maintain decisions, actions, process documentation, user guides, FAQs, training content, release communications, and status reporting.
Expected Deliverables
* Delivery-ready backlog and traceable requirements artifacts.
* UAT plans, evidence, defect logs, sign-offs, and release-readiness assessments.
Support intake and resolution tracking, user documentation, adoption content, status reporting, and continuous-improvement recommendations.
* Improve requirement quality, manage enhancement demand, support users, coordinate testing, and maintain alignment across business, IT, and external technology partners.
* Support BOM/BOD, a strategic enterprise data product serving supply chain, procurement, and downstream digital initiatives. Surrounding Team and Key Work
* Works with the Product Owner, Business Process Owners, business stakeholders, IT, development teams, testing teams, and external technology partners.
* Supports product backlog, change requests, production support, UAT, releases, documentation, adoption, and governance.

Typical Day or Week in the Role
* Facilitate discovery and requirements sessions; develop user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and traceability.
* Refine backlog and change requests; assess value, urgency, impact, complexity, dependencies, and readiness.
* Triage user questions, incidents, defects, and data issues; coordinate resolution and communicate status.
* Plan and coordinate UAT, defect retesting, sign-off, release validation, and stabilization.
* Prepare status updates, decision/action logs, documentation, user guides, FAQs, training, and release communications.
Interaction with Team
* Frequent cross-functional interaction with the Product Owner, process owners, business users, IT, development/testing teams, and external partners.
Team Structure
* Works under the direction of the BOM/BOD Product Owner or designated program leader in a cross-functional delivery model.
Work Environment - Peoria, IL; onsite five days per week; full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Years of experience: 8-10 years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise applications or digital products.

* Clear communication with business users, technical teams, vendors, product leadership, and executives.
* Strong stakeholder facilitation, organization, follow-through, and concise status communication. (Desired)
Disqualifiers/Red Flags/Overqualifications: Disqualifiers / Red Flags
* Less than five years of relevant experience.
* Limited experience with requirements, Agile backlog/change management, UAT, or defect/incident coordination.
* Unable to work onsite five days per week in Peoria, IL.
