Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, business strategy, product support and strategy.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience working with top publishers in a product activation or product support role coordinating product launches across multiple product teams.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Display and Video 360, Search Ads 360, YouTube or similar digital advertising campaigns and platforms.
  • Experience with ad tech landscape and business models.
  • Experience managing complex projects across multiple functions and product areas.
  • Understanding of the YouTube ecosystem (viewers, creators, advertisers) and products.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail and cross-functional coordination skills.


About the job

The YouTube Business Product Activation Team is responsible for bringing product to market and market to product. The team works closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem.

The core capabilities of the team include: designing go-to-market strategies, identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, collecting and synthesizing user feedback, and tracking performance.

The YouTube Partner Sales Go-To-Market Strategy (GTMS) team is responsible for the performance of our YouTube Partner Sales program which spans TV, Film, News, Music, Kids, and Creator ecosystem partners. Our Partner Sales team creates and maintains the program architecture, develops go-to-market strategies, and supports our strategic partner managers (i.e., SPMs) and YouTube Partner Sellers to improve their selling capabilities across the full suite of YouTube products.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) 15% bonus target equity benefits

Responsibilities
  • Set the go-to-market strategy including influencing cross-functional executive stakeholders, and driving execution on product and business priorities.
  • Work cross functionally with Content Partnerships, Product Managers, Finance, and more to shape Partner Sales product strategy, craft go-to-market strategies, develop comms for new products and synthesize global market feedback.
  • Develop insights reports that highlight the top user and partner issues and business opportunities that the product should prioritize.
  • Deliver C-level presentations for major program updates or decision points, supporting critical product launches and managing evaluation and internal approval processes.
  • Lead cross-functional working groups and instituting processes to track and optimize key projects.
