THE ROLE

M&C Saatchi World Services is seeking a Producer to lead the development, production, and delivery of integrated multimedia content that supports strategic communications, outreach, and engagement initiatives across a diverse portfolio of federal programs. Collaborating closely with communications, creative, account, strategy, UX, and technical teams, you will transform complex topics into compelling multimedia stories that inform, inspire, and engage audiences across digital, social, event, and enterprise communications channels. Combining strong production leadership with exceptional storytelling instincts, editorial judgment, and project management expertise, you will manage multiple concurrent productions, coordinate internal teams and external partners, and ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of creative quality, technical excellence, accessibility, and brand consistency.

This is a hybrid role; however, ideally you will live in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end production of multimedia communications products, including videos, podcasts, webinars, live-stream events, animations, motion graphics, and integrated digital campaigns.
• Manage production workflows from concept development and editorial planning through pre-production, production, post-production, publishing, and performance evaluation.
• Develop production plans, creative briefs, editorial calendars, scripts, storyboards, interview frameworks, timelines, and resource plans that support successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with communications, creative, account, strategy, UX, and stakeholder engagement teams to develop multimedia content aligned with campaign objectives and audience needs.
• Coordinate internal teams, freelancers, vendors, production partners, presenters, and subject matter experts throughout the production lifecycle.
• Oversee filming, recording sessions, editing, motion graphics integration, audio mixing, mastering, captioning, accessibility remediation, and final packaging of multimedia products.
• Manage production schedules, budgets, estimates, purchase orders, approvals, and resource allocation while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Ensure all multimedia content aligns with brand standards, editorial guidelines, accessibility requirements, platform specifications, and enterprise quality expectations.
• Develop promotional assets, highlight reels, social-first content, audiograms, short-form edits, and supporting communications materials that maximize audience engagement.
• Maintain production documentation, asset libraries, media archives, templates, version control systems, and workflow documentation.
• Monitor audience engagement metrics, content performance, and production effectiveness to inform continuous improvement and future content strategies.
• Support rapid-turn content development, executive communications, and high-priority initiatives while maintaining creative excellence and operational discipline.
• Stay current on emerging production technologies, AI-enabled creative tools, multimedia trends, storytelling techniques, and evolving digital content formats.

Key Attributes
• Experience leading multimedia, video, audio, podcast, broadcast, or integrated content production within a communications, agency, media, or marketing environment.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end production workflows across video, audio, live events, webinars, podcasts, animation, and digital multimedia content.
• Experience managing production schedules, budgets, vendors, freelancers, production partners, and multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Strong storytelling, editorial development, scriptwriting, interviewing, and narrative-building skills. • Experience utilizing AI-assisted content development, research, and optimization tools to enhance content quality, audience engagement, and workflow efficiency.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies and how AI is transforming multimedia production and communications.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent productions and competing deadlines.
• Experience collaborating effectively with communications, account management, creative, strategy, UX, stakeholder engagement, and technical teams.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, and related production and editing tools.
• Knowledge of video production, audio production, editing, motion graphics, live-stream technologies, webinar platforms, and multimedia publishing workflows.
• Experience managing review cycles, stakeholder approvals, quality assurance, and production governance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality multimedia experiences.
• Experience supporting federal government, Department of Defense, public affairs, international development, or mission-driven communications programs is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, as required by the position.
• Degree or relevant experience in Film Production, Digital Media, Multimedia Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Audio Engineering, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Language Requirements: Fluent written and spoken English required.
