Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of procurement or commercial experience in utility-scale solar, wind, or BESS, including EPC or BOP contracting.
  • Demonstrated experience running competitive RFPs, bid leveling, and contract negotiation for construction scopes.
  • Working knowledge of HV interconnection, civil, and site preparation scopes, and of plant EPC interface management.
  • Experience with ECI, PCSA, and unit rate and quantity true-up structures is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of local and regional civil and clearing contractors in active markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full procurement process from tender document development to contract tracking.
  • Interface with clients and consultants throughout all project stages.
  • Issue RFPs and provide clarifications as needed.
  • Ensure attention to structure and detail in all procurement activities.
  • Collaborate effectively and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Handle plant EPC technical and commercial matters.
  • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

The Turner & Townsend Energy & Natural Resources Family is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our growing team. Roles and responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Strong knowledge of the full procurement process from developing tender documents through to evaluation, negotiation and contract documentation and tracking
  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages
  • RFP issue and clarifications
  • Attention to structure and detail
  • Strong collaboration, negotiation skills, and reporting knowledge
  • Plant EPC technical interface, plant EPC commercial matter
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable

The salary range for this full-time role is $125K-$150K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
