Procurement ManagerAsProcurement Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the operational and financial performance of APM Terminals Valencia and Gijón. You will partner with terminal leadership to drive a cost-conscious culture, strengthen procurement maturity, and ensure efficient sourcing strategies that support safe and reliable terminal operations.You will act as the key link between local stakeholders and the wider APM Terminals procurement organization, leveraging regional and global capabilities while driving continuous improvement, supplier performance, and procurement excellence across the Spain Gateways terminals.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with terminal leadership to drive cost optimization initiatives and improve procurement performance.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships while leveraging global framework agreements and procurement strategies.
- Lead tendering activities, including supplier evaluation, bid assessment, negotiation, and contract award recommendations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving, efficiency, and innovation opportunities across procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements, and global procurement standards.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and operational stakeholders to manage contracts, supplier performance, and commercial risks.
- Drive digitalization, automation, and adoption of procurement tools and processes to improve operational efficiency.

In addition, you bring:
- A degree in Engineering, Business Management, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- More than 5 years of procurement experience within terminal operations, logistics, transportation, automotive, pharmaceutical, or similarly complex industries.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
- Advanced English communication skills and professional fluency in Spanish.
- Strong analytical capabilities, knowledge of procurement governance and contract management, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
